2024 was a terrific year for racing, making it a terrific year for LiveArt and a great year for in-studio commissions as well.

2025 has started out even stronger than last year! To start the year I did several paintings for the Gallery 500 in Daytona, right across the street from Daytona International Speedway, focusing on the cars racing in the Rolex 24, but including a very satisfying painting of the Ferrari that won LeMans back-to-back in 2023 and 2024.

I painted live at 2 venues Friday; the Corvette Corral and that evening at The Art Of Speed event (a commission from the Inception Racing team commemorating their McLaren that was entered in the Le Mans 24) with The Gallery 500. Then things got really busy on Saturday with paintings for the Porsche corral, the Rolex Lounge and finally at Cadillac. 5 paintings in two days, 4 of which raised over $42,000 for the Austin Hatcher Foundation (Hatcherfoundation.org), an official charity of IMSA.

I stayed in Florida for a couple of days so that I could do a LiveArt painting at a private event at the spectacular new Motor Enclave in Tampa; quite an event! I had about 20 of the partiers added a few strokes to the finished product that the owner will use for a private wine labelling in 2026!

Next stop is back to Daytona for the Daytona 500 where I will be painting live for NASCAR fans in the Rolex Lounge at the Speedway on Sunday as well as at the Daytona Autograph Collection Hotel in One Daytona Plaza on Saturday. We will be selling on-the-spot to benefit one of my favorite charities - Me!

Then on to the IMSA Mobil 1 Twelve Hours Of Sebring March 14 and 15 where I will be LiveArt  painting again at several events on Friday and Saturday to benefit the Austin Hatcher Foundation. I believe I will paint for Cadillac, Porsche, Corvette, and for the first time Ford, who just won their class on debut at Daytona! Can't wait to get introduce the Foundation to the Ford group, and cant wait to see that Aston hybrid!!

Although I anticipate adding other events inbetween, the next scheduled event will be the Acura Grand Prix Of Long Beach. For the third year I will be LiveArt painting at the RMMR Dinner, this year celebrating the 50th (?!) Anniversary of the Long Beach GP. Honorees this year will be Brian Redman (winner of the innaugural Long Beach race in F5000), Mario Andretti, and Al Unser, Jr.

Then it's the month of May and things get busy!

See you at The Races, let me know if you'd like to discuss a commission or a LiveArt event as a fund raiser or entretainment.

Stop Being Intimidated By Art

There seems to be something called art anxiety. People become stressed about choosing art for their home or office.
